These Retro-Yet-Timeless Sunglasses Go With Everything

It's been a while since we've seen the sun in New York City, and in addition to sorely missing the dopamine it triggers, I've also missed getting to wear my favorite sunglasses: I've owned Le Specs' Outta Love style in the "Tort" (aka classic brown tortoise shell) colorway for about four years now, and although other eyewear has come into my life here and there, they've remained my everyday go-to.
The oval frames offer a throwback '90s feel that's retro, but in a subtle way, so they carry a certain timelessness. I love that the narrower silhouette fits my small face — something I often struggle with when it comes to eyewear — and enhances, rather than overpowers, my features.
In the years that I've owned these sunglasses, I've worn them to the beach, during long road trips, on bike rides, while traveling in Italy and Spain and, of course, just to walk around the city any time we're not going through a bleak cloudy spell. And while I tend to get sick of certain wardrobe pieces fairly quickly, my obsession with them is still going strong.
I've found that the brown tortoise complements my coloring (brown hair, brown eyes), but these frames also come in a whole bunch of other hues, so I'm considering investing in a second pair (maybe these slightly funkier "Cookie" ones that are currently on sale on the brand's website?).
