Restaurant inspections: Oscar's Palm Springs, French Corner Cafe and more score ‘A’ grades
Coachella Valley restaurants once again passed Riverside County environmental health inspections and earned "A" grades, according to reports conducted Nov. 17 through 23.
Fewer inspections took place this week, likely due to the Thanksgiving holiday, but local spots that came out on top include Oscar's and Café La Jefa in Palm Springs and French Corner Cafe in Palm Desert.
Major violations pose an imminent risk to public health and warrant the immediate closure of a food facility or immediate correction, while minor violations do not pose a public health risk, but do warrant correction.
Grade A restaurants
An "A" grade, or a score of 90 to 100 points, means a restaurant passed an inspection and met minimum health standards.
