Resident Evil Village is the next installment in the long-running horror franchise. It takes place shortly after the events of Resident Evil 7, with Ethan Winters and his wife moving away from the chaos of their past and settling into a new life. That peace doesn’t last long, however, as an unannounced appearance from Chris Redfield pulls them back into the fray.
The game looks more terrifying than anything we’ve ever seen from the series, thanks to the increased graphical power of PS5 and Xbox Series X. Even better, PC players can save 17% by pre-ordering on GamesPlanet with promo code VILLAGEPEOPLE.
For now, console players will have to pay full price. However, we did see the price drop down to $50 at Walmart recently, so if you don’t absolutely need the game day one, we recommend holding off in case that price comes back. Based on past sales, we expect it to be back down within a couple weeks, so you likely won’t need to wait long.
