The Resemblance Between Princess Charlotte & Young Queen Elizabeth Is Uncanny in New Pic

Last week, Prince William and Kate Middleton offered a rare glimpse at one of the photos that will be featured on their Christmas card. And now, fans can’t get over how much their daughter, Princess Charlotte (6), looks like Queen Elizabeth.

It all started when the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge shared a never-before-seen family photo on Instagram, featuring Charlotte and her two brothers: Prince George (8) and Prince Louis (3).

As Hello! magazine points out, fans immediately filled the comments section with messages about Princess Charlotte’s likeness to Queen Elizabeth. One person wrote, “The older Princess Charlotte is getting the more she is becoming more like Queen Elizabeth.” Another added, “Charlotte is queen’s double!” Another follower wrote, “Princess Charlotte is coming more like Queen Elizabeth, Prince George is coming more like Prince William and Prince Louis is coming more like Kate Middleton.”

When compared to this childhood photo of Queen Elizabeth (see below), the resemblance becomes more obvious. If you look past their hairstyles, you’ll notice they have identical features, including their eyes and nose.

Princess Charlotte isn’t smiling in the holiday pic, but if she were, her grin would likely resemble young Elizabeth (as shown below in a pic from earlier this year).

The Christmas photo was taken during the family’s trip to Jordan earlier this year, which explains the festive props. The caption read, “Delighted to share a new image of the family, which features on this year’s Christmas card.”

Although we already noticed that Prince George and Prince Louis are looking more like their dad, we can’t unsee this comparison between Princess Charlotte and Queen Elizabeth.
