Protecting Elephants

Elephants are one of the most endangered animals in the world, and many fall victim to poaching for their ivory tusks. This is so heartbreaking because the beautiful animals are often shot and their tusks stolen.

You can help protect elephants by never purchasing items made with ivory. You can also donate to a number of different wildlife protection organizations, such as the World Wildlife Fund. This organization helps safeguard elephants in their natural habitats: the Savannas of Africa.

You can also help by supporting organizations that are helping protect natural habitats themselves. You can also support the work of elephant sanctuaries that pop up often. There are always organizations that are helping elephants, you just have to keep an eye out.

You can help protect elephants by buying elephant-friendly coffee and wood. Coffee and timber crops usually take down wild elephant habitats. You can help prevent this by only supporting wood and coffee companies that don’t do this.

You can also adopt an elephant through groups like World Wildlife Fund and Born Free. Your donation will help elephant conservation efforts.

You can also help support elephant conservation by boycotting circuses with live elephants in them. They are commonly used in circuses due to their intelligence and trainability. But living captive is not really a life worth living.
