Rescue Worker's Way of Enriching Blind Cow's Life at Sanctuary Is So Beautiful
Helen spent her first 19 years at a dairy farm, and this beautiful blind cow was recently adopted by a rescue sanctuary determined to make her life as full and wonderful as possible.

Caring for a blind cow takes a lot of work and consideration. You have to create a consistent and well-defined living environment for them. You have to minimize obstacles, sharp edges, or potential hazards in their living area to prevent accidents. In order to help them live their happiest life you have to introduce new scents or sounds, provide toys or other safe items of interest, and encourage social interaction with other cows or caregivers. We are so blessed there are people in the world who gives these animals all the care and love they deserve.
