Rescue dog from Cape Cod earns perfect score at Westminster Dog Show qualifying round

Linda Valente and her dog Tess brought home a qualifying ribbon to Cape Cod from the Westminster Dog Show Masters Agility Championships in Flushing, New York last weekend.

Valente said Tess aced the Saturday morning qualifying round with a perfect score.

The crowds grew in the afternoon and during their second run on the course Tess stopped atop the teeter to look at the crowd cheering her on and took it all in before racing through the second part of the timed course.

Valente said they were a crowd favorite with fans coming up for photos afterwards, even though they didn’t make it into the next round.
