Renovations at Maxwell Anderson Hotel in Glenwood Springs almost finished

GLENWOOD SPRINGS, Colo. (KREX) — Renovations to the Maxwell Anderson Hotel, formally known as The Denver Hotel, are almost complete.
Renovations to the hotel began a little over a year ago with changes to every guest room, including new furniture, new bathrooms and linens.
The hotel also added 17 new hotel rooms, replaced three elevators, and replaced the fire alarm system throughout the whole building.
General Manager at the Maxwell Anderson Hotel Roger Smith talked with WesternSlopeNow about progress on the renovations.
“We’ve completed all of the existing hotel rooms. We’ve got 73 existing hotel rooms that are currently open for sale. Right now, we’re doing the final touches on our lobby which should be finished by the end of next week.”
