'Renovation Island' Star Sarah Baeumler's Cryptic Post Teases New Show

Bryan and Sarah Baeumler have been on a brief hiatus from HGTV after 4 seasons of Renovation Island, competing on Rock the Block, and serving as judges on Battle on the Beach. Fans are eager to have the pair back on screen, but with little intel from the Baeumlers or HGTV, it's hard to say what's next for the family. However, Sarah's recent Instagram post renewed some hope that the Baeumlers will be back on HGTV before we know it!

"Gearing up for the next few weeks ahead on site! I can't share all the details quite yet but let's just say that it involves a healthy dose of friendly competition..." Sarah teased on Instagram.

This cryptic shot and caption don't give us much to go on, but we know that the Baeumlers have been preparing for a new show. HGTV Canada revealed that the Bryan will be part of a series where he "travels off-the-beaten-path to help people who have left their old lives behind to start a unique business in a rural or remote location."

Sarah's post left fans are excited, but also curious of what's to come. "Will there be a new season of renovation island or something similar? Big fan!❤️" and "Can't wait to see what you're working on!," fans commented. "I've been patiently waiting for a post like this!!! 💜" and "Hoping it's Rock the Block," others chimed in.

Well, fans are in luck! HGTV finally broke the news that Sarah and Bryan will, in fact, be returning to season 5 of Rock the Block. The Baeumlers will be joined by other retuning renovators Keith Bynum and Evan Thomas (Bargain Block); Lyndsay Lamb and Leslie Davis (Unsellable Houses); and Page Turner and Mitch Glew (Fix My Flip). We'll have to wait until March 2024 to see our favorites back on the competition series, but this lineup already has us excited!
