'Renovation Island' Fans, Prepare Yourself for This 2023 News

It has been a year since we last saw HGTV stars Sarah and Bryan Bauemler on their show Renovation Island (known as Island of Bryan in Canada). And while we appreciate catching up with the couple on Rock the Block and Battle on the Beach, there's nothing quite like their Caerula Mar show. New episodes haven't aired since last summer, and fans are eager to see what's going on with Sarah, Bryan, and their four kids.

So, will Renovation Island return in 2023? A representative from HGTV told Country Living: "Unfortunately, HGTV has no new information to share about Renovation Island at this time." The network has announced a new slate of shows for July, so we're not expecting to see Renovation Island back this month.

HGTV Canada posted on June 1 that a new show featuring Bryan is currently in the works: "We are now casting for a brand-new series where Bryan Baeumler travels off-the-beaten-path to help people who have left their old lives behind to start a unique business in a rural or remote location. Bryan uses his expertise of renovating a resort on a remote island to help you launch your own dream project." According to the casting application, the show will be filming into the fall of 2023.

We're assuming that this new project means that Bryan won't be filming new episodes of Renovation Island any time soon, but we will await on more information from HGTV. Until then, we'll keep watching Sarah and Bryan on Sunday nights on Battle on the Beach!
