REI’s Deal of the Day Offers the Smith Forefront Helmet for 50% Off
The Smith Forefront mountain bike helmet may just be the perfect fit for your rides and budget today only. REI’s Deal of the Day lists this helmet, available in matte black or white, for just $110-that’s half off the original price of $220.
We’ve commended Smith’s Koroyd technology before, since its thermo-welded plastic tubes absorb the same impacts as EPS foam while using less material, making the Forefront smaller than other helmets. Because Koroyd is typically an expensive material to produce, today is a great day to invest in the helmet for half off.
The Koroyd does somewhat limit air flow on super hot rides, though Smith resolved this issue with improved ventilation on the new Smith Trace road helmet. The 2018 Trace also comes standard with MIPS technology, though you’ll have to pay the full $250 price for that.
