Registration still open for Festival Foods Turkey Trot in Appleton. Here's how to sign up
APPLETON - The Festival Foods Turkey Trot will begin at 8 a.m. Nov. 23 at the Fox Cities Exhibition Center, 355 W. Lawrence St. There’s still time to register.
Participants can choose from the untimed 2-mile Walk, 2-mile Fun Run, or the timed 5-mile Run. The trot is open to everyone of all ages and abilities. There’s also a 2-mile Dog Jog.
There are two different start lines, so be sure to line up in the right place. Five-mile participants will line up on College Avenue in front of Hilton Appleton Paper Valley Hotel, and 2-mile participants will gather on College Avenue east of Superior Street, behind the 5-mile participants. Dog Jog participants will line up behind 2-mile walkers.
Registration is $35 for adults, $15 for children 18 and younger, and $5 for the Dog Jog. The registration fee for adults will increase to $40 beginning Nov. 19. Sign up at appleton.festivalfoodsturkeytrot.com.
Packet pickup is scheduled for 1 p.m. to 6 p.m. Nov. 22 and 6:30 a.m. to 7:30 a.m. Nov. 23 at the Exhibition Center.
The event benefits the local Boys & Girls Clubs and YMCA organizations.
