Registration is still open for annual Festival Foods Turkey Trot in Green Bay. Here's how to sign up
GREEN BAY - There's still time to register for the Festival Foods Turkey Trot. The race will begin at 8 a.m. Nov. 23 from Johnsonville Tailgate Village, 1265 Lombardi Ave.
Participants can choose from the untimed 2-mile Walk, 2-mile Fun Run, or the timed 5-mile Run. The trot is open to everyone of all ages and abilities. There’s also a 2-mile Dog Jog.
There are two different start lines, so be sure to line up in the right place. Five-mile participants will begin on Holmgren Way just south of Lombardi Avenue; two-mile participants will begin on Holmgren Way just north of Mike McCarthy Way. Dogs will line up behind all other participants on the 2-mile course.
Registration is $35 for adults, $15 for children 18 and younger, and $5 for the Dog Jog. The registration fee for adults will increase to $40 beginning Nov. 19. Sign up at greenbay.festivalfoodsturkeytrot.com.
Packet pickup is scheduled for 2 to 6 p.m. Nov. 22 and 6:30 to 7:30 a.m. Nov. 23 at Johnsonville Tailgate Village.
The event benefits the Boys & Girls Clubs and YMCA in each community where it is held.
