Registration Opens For Two Major North American Races

Today is a big, and expensive, day for racers in the Northwest. Registration is officially open for the North American Enduro Cup - the premier EWS style enduro in the United States, and Red Bull Psychosis - the freeride race widely regarded as the most extreme and challenging downhill race out there aside from Hardline.

Take a look at the NAEC announcement below.

I raced the NAEC last year and I can say definitively that it was one of the most challenging and rewarding weekends I have ever had on a bike. The race is no joke so if you register, be ready to be beat up for a while afterward.

They do have a number of categories spanning from beginner to pro in both Men's and Women's. The course length is adjusted accordingly for some of the lower categories. Expert and above races both days and the lower cats will typically only do day one at the most.

You can register here and the race is held on June 15th and 16th with a practice day on the 14th.

The next item on the agenda is the long awaited return of Red Bull Psychosis. The Golden, B.C. race has been inked into the history books as one of the most insane races someone can walk up and register for.

This takes place on the notoriously steep and long Mount 7 line in Golden and as far as we know, that is the plan for the revamp/send-off.

The race covers 4000 ft. of descending over 4.5 miles with a puckering maximum grade of over 80ºs. I don't think I need to elaborate on how vertical that is.

This one takes place on June 22nd (very convenient if you want to make a Northern Rockies race week trip) and you can register for that right here.
