New CCE Chemung County 4-H club to start in Breesport

Participants must register for this event and have until May 15 to do so. To register, call 607-734-4453 between 9 a.m. and 12 p.m. or between 1 p.m. and 4 p.m. on a weekday. Callers will be asked to verify that all waste materials were generated by a household and not a business. They will also need to give their name, phone number, and address. Additionally, callers will be asked how they heard about the event, the type of waste they intend to bring, how much waste they intend to bring, and if this is the first time they’re participating in a CCE disposal event.

The location of the event will be provided to participants after they register. Participants will need to either post or hold up a piece of paper with their name on it to their vehicle’s window as they drive through the event to check-in. All items should be placed in the back of the vehicle to make it easier for haulers to retrieve them. Smoking is not allowed at the event, and all pets should be left at home.
