Registration for Bays Mountain Park Day Camp opens
KINGSPORT, Tenn. (WJHL) — Registration for Day Camp at Bays Mountain Park opened on Monday.
The camp is open for rising 1st through 6th graders. Each week-long camp session will have outdoor, nature-oriented activities, giving campers hands-on learning experiences.
The theme for the 2024 camp is “Outlast” and is based on the reality show “Survivor.” The camp will feature immersive hikes, nature-based crafts, games, a lake day and more.

Day camp hours are Monday through Friday, 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. and are limited to 30 students.
Below are the following dates for campers:
Students entering 1st, 2nd and 3rd grades in Fall 2024:
June 3 – June 7
June 17 – 21
July 1 – July 5
July 15 – July 19
July 29 – Aug. 2
Students entering 4th, 5th and 6th grades in Fall 2024:
June 10 – June 14
June 24 – June 28
July 8 – July 12
July 22 – July 26
Campers are advised to bring a bagged lunch and drink each day and wear appropriate clothing. Closed-toe shoes are recommended.
Parents and guardians will attend a short orientation on the first day.
Tuition for the camp is $75 for the first child and $65 for additional children. A current Family Membership with Bays Mountain Park is required.
