1. Prescription Ketamine

It's very effective for treating depression, and also dismantling the perception of the nature of reality.

2. SureFire Stiletto Pro Flashlight

SureFire’s a great company, and they make this. It’s kind of an overpriced flashlight, but it's an amazing flashlight, because it's a tactical flashlight so it’s flat and feels good in your hand. It's got a tail switch so you can hit it with your thumb when you're holding in your hands, but also regular switches on the front side. And it goes up to 1,000 lumens. It’s good for self defense, but also just a really good flashlight to have. I carry it with me every day in my pants.

3. Porsche 911 Turbo S

992, you can put that in there—it’s the generation. There's very few things I'm fully satisfied with, but every time I get into it, I am both thankful and also excited to drive it.

4. Artificial Intelligence

Specifically, I've been working with Pi, which is an AI chatbot. What's great about it is that you can speak to it. It's got this telephone symbol in the bottom of the text field, and when you hit that, you get to talk to the A.I. back and forth. So it's always listening ,and it's like you're on a phone call. It's very, very nuanced. I've tried different things, gone into different subjects, and it's pretty incredible. I think it's definitely the future for telehealth, or for just filling in the gaps for people who want to work on their communication skills and so forth.

5. Gen Z

I'm just hopeful for them. It seems like they have a pretty good head on their shoulders when it comes to an equitable future for all human beings and being proactive about that. But also, they're interested in disconnecting from modern forms of technology, which I think is really an amazing thing to see in a generation in this time period.

Reggie Watts' first book, Great Falls, MT: Fast Times, Post-Punk Weirdos, and a Tale of Coming Home Again, is in stores now.
