How is it already that time of year? It feels like winter is flying by as Reggae Fest is confirmed for yet another season at Sugarloaf, ME.

A post from officials at the Loaf wrote that the 26th annual "Reggae Fest lineup is confirmed and the good vibes are guaranteed. It's the biggest spring party in ski country and this year's artists are not to be missed."

The festival runs from April 11th to April 14th, and it's 4 days of good vibes and (usually) pretty good snow. Great snow, even, if you like corn skiing.

Plus, us Mainers aren't accustomed to balmy 30-degree mid-winter days, so Spring skiing on the East Coast is a special treat.

"Featuring co-headliners @johnbrownsbodymusic and @longbeachduballstars, it's a stacked four days of music and non-stop parties. Coyote Island, @joesambamusic @woodyandthereb @leerossmusic @sundubmusic @mightymystic amongst others will round out the cast to make this year's 36th Annual Sugarloaf Reggae Festival one to beat. Brought to you by our friends at @baxteroutdoors ."

Specifically, the lineup includes DJ Ras1 at The Widowmaker (Thursday night), Gorilla Finger Dub, Woody and the Rebel Alliance at The Widowmaker, as well as Green Lion Crew, Sundub, and John Brown's Body in the King Pine Room (Friday), 9 different artists playing throughout the day Saturday at Bullwinkle's (the on-mountain restaurant and bar), The Widowmaker, King Pine Room, and on the Beach (outside looking up at the mountain).

Sunday has a couple more concerts at Bullwinkle's and The Beach from Zion Train, Green Lion Crew, and Adrienne Mack-Davis.

Reggae Fest is an age-old tradition for Sugarloafers. It signifies the celebration of the season, and end-of-the-winter treat everyone comes together to enjoy.

People come from all over dressed in Rastafari colors, enjoy rowdy skiing with friends, parties on the hill, and general springtime festivities.

Sadly, in the past, it has also meant littering from chairlifts (beer cans, mostly) and general raucousness across the mountain. Hopefully this year we can all enjoy it together without trashing the mountain for those who come after us (like any resort, there are still kids up that weekend).

Pricing varies based on how many days you are attending, but there are single-day and full-festival pass options ranging from $35-$85.

All outdoor and afternoon concerts are free and family friendly. Only the night shows are 21+.

Like any good festival, overnight camping is permitted (in parking lot E), and is limited to self-contained vehicles.
