When it comes to Reese Witherspoon, 47, and her oldest child, Ava Phillippe, the resemblance is uncanny.
And it seems the older Ava gets, the more she looks like her mom.

And it seems the older Ava gets, the more she looks like her mom (if that's possible!).
Reese recently posted photos to her Instagram showing off her night out with 23-year-old Ava, which sparked a hot debate in the comments section. Ava's father is Ryan Phillippe, Reese's ex-husband and co-star in Cruel Intentions, who is also the father of their son, Deacon. The combination of Reese and Ryan's good looks was sure to make some beautiful children, though, the debate is around whether Ava resembles her mother or father more.

The mother-daughter duo attended Oceana's SeaChange Summer Party together. Reese attended in partnership with the sustainable skincare brand Biossance. They posed for a selfie getting ready for the event in matching white Waldorf Astoria robes and beach waves (fitting for the ocean-centric event). At the event, they matched once again both wearing strapless dresses.
As for the comments, there was only one thing on everyone's mind: rehashing who Ava looks more like (fans have been debating for years).
"Why does Ava look more like Reese Witherspoon than Reese Witherspoon," and "Literally twins," fans in favor of Ava's resemblance to her mom wrote. We think Ava got the best of both worlds and is a perfect mix of both of her famous parents!
