  • Reese Witherspoon just shared her new favorite vitamin C serum to correct dark spots.

  • “Hyperpigmentation has really been helped by this product,” she said.

  • The serum is part of the star’s three-step routine using Biossance’s sustainable skincare.

For years, Reese Witherspoon, 45, has been a devotee of Elizabeth Arden, but a new clean beauty brand has stolen her heart. On April 7, the actress announced a partnership with Biossance and shared her simple, three-step routine using the line’s sustainable and EWG-verified products.

First, she uses the Squalene + 10% Vitamin C Dark Spot Serum. “Ever since I had babies I have these little brown spots,” she said in the Instagram video, pointing to her jawline and cheeks. “This hyperpigmentation has really been helped by this product.”

According to the serum’s description, a blend of vitamin C and white shiitake mushroom gradually degrade the appearance of discoloration and texture.

Witherspoon follows the serum with the brand’s Squalene + Omega Repair Cream. “It’s really lightweight,” she explained. “It’s not sticky, it’s not greasy.”

Lastly, she completes the regimen with her “favorite” step: Biossance’s Squalene + Vitamin C Rose Oil. It’s the brand’s most-loved product with four and a half stars and over 1,000 reviews at Sephora.

“This oil makes my skin glow as if I’ve just had a facial! My face feels so hydrated and soft too,” one Sephora customer wrote. Another called it “magical,” adding, “My skin is firmer and more elastic, brighter, and is able to retain its moisture throughout the day.”

Not only does The Morning Show actress love how these products perform, she’s especially passionate about the brand’s mission and the fact that it’s woman-led.

“I have always been conscious of what’s being put on my skin, but after all the time I’ve spent on movie sets wearing a lot of makeup, my curiosity has grown around making better skin care choices that incorporate clean products,” she wrote on Instagram. “I am so happy to have found an incredible, female-led brand that checks all the boxes. My skin has truly never felt healthier, and I’m so proud to work with such a strong industry leader that empowers women to make beauty choices that are sustainable and effective!”
