Reese Witherspoon Shares Sweet Thanksgiving Snap With Her Mom & They’re Totally Twinning
Reese Witherspoon celebrated Thanksgiving with some extended family this year and her IG posts had some people seeing double! While the Academy Award-winning actress often gets comments about how much she and her daughter look alike, it was a photo of Witherspoon and her mother Betty Reese that had fans talking this Thanksgiving.
“Giving THANKS for my wonderful family! And for pie 🥧 I love pie! ❤️💫🥧” the star of The Morning Show captioned a carousel of photos on Instagram, the first of which features Witherspoon and her mother with nearly identical smiles. Both mom and daughter are wearing pearls for the occasion and look comfy but chic in neutral-toned sweaters. Witherspoon held up a glass of something bubbly and amber as the two posed for the sweet photo.

Fans couldn’t help but call out the twinning mother-daughter duo. “Like Mother like Daughter,” commented one. “Did they clone every female in your family? You all look soooo much alike!” added another.
And while we are pretty sure no cloning has been involved in the Witherspoon family, the commenter isn’t wrong. Any time Witherspoon shares a photo alongside her daughter Ava, as she did in her Instagram stories, people cannot help but notice how close the apple falls to the tree. Back in October, Witherspoon explained to Jenna Bush Hager that she and Ava “don’t see it that much,” which felt like a wild response to anyone who’s ever seen the two of them side by side.

Witherspoon also included some photos alongside her 10-year-old son Tennessee, whom she shares with her husband Jim Toth, as well as other extended family members — plus a peak at her family’s Thanksgiving spread. It seems like Witherspoon has an awful lot to be grateful for this holiday season, especially family.
