Reese Witherspoon Shares Rare Photo With Brother John for Milestone Birthday

Reese Witherspoon is wishing her older brother a happy 50th birthday with a rare feature on her Instagram account.
The actress, 46, shared a photo with her brother John on Wednesday, Oct. 12, in celebration of his major birthday milestone.
In the wholesome sibling photo, Reese—who doesn't share photos of her big bro very often—smiles for the camera with a drink in hand. The pair appear to be seated at a restaurant.
"Happy 50th birthday to my big Bro John!! 🌟" the Legally Blonde alum wrote in the caption on Wednesday's post. "Thank you for teaching me how to change a flat tire, skip rocks on the lake, build a fort in the backyard and catch so many frogs 🐸."

"You always make life an adventure!" she added, while concluding the heartfelt message with "I love you Brother. 🥰"
The Morning Show star previously gushed about John—her only sibling—in a 2020 issue of Vanity Fair, where she said, "we have that inexplicable bond of childhood. Two people forged in the same fire."
"It's interesting because we're very different, but we manage to love and care for each other with a ferocity that defies words. I call him Brother. He calls me Sister. Very Southern sibling stuff," she continued.
Reese has also described her brother as "the best BIG brother a girl could ask for" in the past, which she shared in a 2021 Instagram post for John.
"Always being there for me & my kids. Being my biggest supporter since Day 1," she sweetly added at the time.
