Reese Witherspoon Keeps It Classic in Satin Jimmy Choo Anouk Pumps at Golden Globes 2024

Reese Witherspoon attended the Golden Globe Awards 2024 held in Los Angeles on Sunday. Witherspoon attended the star-studded event with her eldest son Deacon Phillippe.

For the ceremony, Witherspoon donned a pair of black satin Anouk pointed-toe pumps from Jimmy Choo. The classic silhouette was comprised of high-shine satin uppers accompanied by sharp triangular pointed toes and thin stiletto heels standing at around 3 to 4 inches in height, giving the star a striking boost.

Black or otherwise, pumps are a staple footwear silhouette in many celebrities’ wardrobes for a myriad of reasons. The style is exceedingly versatile, playing well with just about everything from jeans to dresses and suits. Additionally, the style can be easily expounded upon with color and print. For these reasons, the pump is as classic as classic gets.

Cast in pink and black hues, Witherspoon was outfitted in a lengthy gown crafted of textural velvet. The garment featured an asymmetrical bodice with a singular strap that sat off the shoulder. Additionally, the “Legally Blonde” star’s dress was form-fitted, stopping just above her ankles. Finishing off her look with a hint of shine, the thespian sported an array of silver Tiffany & Co. jewelry featuring diamond adornments. Witherspoon’s blonde tresses were worn in a half-up half-down style, framing her features.

The Golden Globe Awards celebrate the top performances across film and television. This year’s ceremony is hosted by comedian Jo Koy and features a star-studded afterparty presented by Billboard and Rémy Martin.

Viewers can watch the Golden Globes live on CBS and stream on Paramount+. Ahead of the ceremony, WWD will host its first real-time red carpet digital show, hosted by Jeannie Mai highlighting the looks from the red carpet arrivals. On Monday, WWD will reveal the winners of its Style Awards during the red carpet recap on wwd.com/golden-globes at 10 a.m. ET.
