Reese Witherspoon and daughter Ava keep twinning in chic strapless gowns

When Reese Witherspoon arrived at the Critics Choice Awards in January of this year with her daughter Ava Phillippe as her date, we were shook at just how much the pair looked alike. Blonde hair, bright blue eyes, big smiles – the duo's resemblance is uncanny. And despite Reese being 48 years old, she looks more like her 24-year-old daughter's twin sister than her mother.
Cue new conspiracy theory: Ava is actually her mother's clone. We admittedly have no evidence for such a claim and may just have been watching too much sci-fi lately (from Dune to Rebel Moon to 3 Body Problem, the genre is rife RN). But, they certainly share a fashion formula if their latest looks are anything to go by.
Attending the Tiffany & Co. Celebration of the launch of Blue Book 2024: Tiffany Céleste in Beverly Hills yesterday [Thursday 25 April], both Reese and Ava opted for almost identical chic strapless gowns.
Ava kept things simple in a grey floor-length sheath dress while Reese's David Koma black wrap design finished at her ankles, giving a look at her strappy black sandals. It also featured an embellished ribbon-tie belt for a little extra interest.
Both women also coordinated their accessories, carrying black clutch bags and adding choker-style necklaces. Ava opted for a chunky gold collar with Reese's diamond necklace embellished further with pale yellow-green stones no doubt from the event's host.
Both Reese and Ava looked stunning and reminded us of another famous look-alike mother daughter duo AKA Cindy Crawford and Kaia Gerber. There's no denying the genes are *strong* in Hollywood. Maybe that's the real conspiracy theory?!
