Reese Witherspoon Confirms Big Little Lies Season 3

Reese Witherspoon took to the Golden Globe Awards red carpet last night with the cast and crew of the television series The Morning Show, which was nominated for two awards.

However, it was a conversation about another one of her TV shows that made headlines, as Variety asked Witherspoon to confirm whether there would be a season three of Big Little Lies.

Witherspoon tried to bat it away but eventually revealed, "We are working on it". She said, "[Nicole Kidman] and I have been working on it a lot".

Nicole Kidman first teased the news in November, but it looks like all systems are a-go on a third instalment of the series.

Big Little Lies follows the apparently-perfect lives of upper-class mothers of students at a prestigious elementary school as they unravel to the point of murder when a single mother moves to their quaint California beach town.

The show stars Reese Witherspoon, Nicole Kidman, Shailene Woodley, Zoë Kravitz and Laura Dern and ran for two seasons from 2017 to 2019.
