Reese’s Just Quietly Rolled Out a Gigantic New Cup

When it comes to candy, more is more. So, when iconic candy creators like Reese’s decide to make the classics even bigger, in our minds, it equals better.

Reese’s just rolled out a new peanut butter chocolate treat that pushes the beloved peanut butter filling to its limit. And because everybody knows the different Reese’s shapes taste almost like different treats entirely, we know this new, massive shape promises a whole new chocolate-peanut butter experience.

Reese’s New Jumbo Cup Is Coming This Summer

This summer, Reese’s is launching a brand new candy that puts previous peanut butter cups to shame: the Reese’s Jumbo Cup. The monstrous 2.8-ounce candy is double the size of the brand’s Big Cup (which clocks in at a 1.4 ounces), and over three times the size of the classic cup. Our chocolate peanut butter-loving hearts can barely take it.

Reese’s confirmed the news to Allrecipes in an email statement, saying, “Looks like the cat's out of the bag! Reese's Jumbo Cup makes its debut in select stores this summer.”

The newest—and largest—member of the (core) Reese's family, the Jumbo Cup has an unmatched amount of creamy peanut butter filling. Think Oreo’s Most Stuf cookie, but in peanut butter cup form. It’s ready to take the lead in the Reese’s cup ranking, and fans are already anxious to give it a try.

“1000% YES!!!” said one fan on Instagram.

Now, this isn't the largest Reese’s ever created, but unlike the 3.4-pound Reese’s Thanksgiving Pie, or even the enormous 8-ounce cups, Jumbo Reese’s were made for more than novelty—they were made for the ultimate personal-sized indulgence.

Don’t get us wrong, if you can eat a half-pound peanut butter cup on your own, more power to you, but for most of us, we want something a little more approachable.

According to an Instagram post, the new Reese’s has already been spotted in Walgreens, and the brand confirmed that the new mega size will be arriving “very soon” to more retailers nationwide.

So, as you shop the candy aisles this summer for movie snacks and road trip treats, keep an eye out for the new Reese's Jumbo Cup to experience the maximum amount of chocolate peanut butter bliss.
