Reese's New 'Take 5' Bar Might Be Better Than The Original Peanut Butter Cups

Ha! You thought Reese's couldn't possibly top its Easter-themed peanut butter eggs, (which, for the record, are the best ones), but they went ahead and did it. Hershey's debuted a Reese's "Take 5" bar at Chicago's annual Sweets and Snacks Expo earlier this week.

Let me tell you, there's a lot more to love about this bar. Sure, it's got that classic chocolate peanut butter combo we all adore, but now they've added layers of caramel, pretzel, and peanuts to the mix. It also comes in a bar rather than the classic cups.

Though we're still waiting for more deets, we do know the candy is likely hitting stores this July. That bit of info comes to us per expert Instagram snack account @JunkFoodOnTheGo.

While this obviously sounds amazing, I am a bit curious as to how it differs from the original "Take 5" bar, especially considering the layers are the exact same. Is it the ratio of the ingredients? Is Reese's chocolate peanut butter recipe somehow different? I need answers, but even more than that, I need to taste the candy for myself.

The expo, which touts 2,000-plus product launches every year, has introduced a number of other new sweets so far: Mint and Dark chocolate Kit Kat Bar Duos, Fudge-Covered Mint Creme Oreos, and Hershey's Triple Chocolate Cakes, to name a few. Those Crush-flavored Sour Patch Kids and Swedish Fish also made their official debut.

I'm typically a sucker for the classics, but IDK, I'm starting to change my tune. These new snacks are wild...in the best way.
