Reebok Has Retro Sneakers for Nostalgic NBA Fans

Most of our articles are focused on helping men improve their style through footwear. Let's face it, after men turn 30 years old, the odds of us looking cool become increasingly low.

But the silver lining of gaining silver hair is that we finally have some disposable income. As long as we take care of our adult obligations, it is healthy to spend a little bit of money that makes our inner child happy.

For me, it is retro basketball shoes. The 1990s were the golden age of the NBA and sneakers. Luckily for my fellow basketball nerds historians, Reebok has released three iconic sneakers that channel 90s nostalgia.

If there is ever an old San Antonio Spurs game replaying on NBA TV, I must stop and watch it. Not because I like David Robinson and Tim Duncan (they were a thorn in my side as a Los Angeles Lakers fan). Rather, the beautiful multi-color court at the Alamodome.

The Blast was one of Reebok's most important basketball shoes of the era. The high-top hoop shoe is back in a colorway that pays tribute to the Spurs with a black and grey upper, contrasted by an outsole featuring laser pink and mint green. The shoes are still available for $150 on the Reebok website.

No athlete is more important to Reebok than Allen Iverson. The top draft pick of the legendary 1996 NBA Draft stormed onto the scene and changed the game forever. Iverson's career has been over for a long time, but his signature sneaker line is still going strong.

Reebok continues to reinvent the Question (Iverson's first signature shoe) with exciting new colorways that tell unique stories. Fans can choose between a plethora of Iverson's sneakers starting at $130 on the Reebok website.

No big man was more dominant than Shaquille O'Neal. During his time with the Orlando Magic, O'Neal proved that post players are capable of moving products too. Since O'Neal's retirement, Reebok has created new colorways that tell different stories from the Big Diesel's career.

Online shoppers can choose between several styles and colorways of O'Neal's retro shoes ranging from $120-$180 in adult sizes on the Reebok website.
