No sneaker company was more irreverent and audacious in the 1990s than Reebok. Luckily for the sneaker community, the Boston-based brand is back to doing it bigger and better than ever in 2024.

Throughout last year, Reebok signed several rising stars in the sports world to sneaker deals and brought in two iconic figures to head its basketball division. Shaquille O'Neal and Allen Iverson took over as President and Vice President of Reebok Basketball and are guaranteed to shake up the sneaker industry.

One of Reebok's first releases of 2024 is a tribute to its new Vice President of Basketball. Iverson's fourth signature sneaker is being released in an OG colorway. Below is a detailed look and release information for the old-school hoop shoe.

The Reebok Answer III 'White/Black' colorway is scheduled to be released on Friday, January 19. Online shoppers can purchase the sneakers for $140 in adult sizes on the Reebok website and select retailers.

Iverson’s fourth Reebok signature footwear model and the third within his historic "Answer" series, the superstar guard debuted "Answer III" for the first time on court in 1999.

Lauded for its classic look against a range of overbuilt competitors, this original 'White/Black' colorway offers a subtle yet high-contrast iteration, with the 2024 retro boasting a premium leather upper atop a DMX Foam midsole.

It is tough to describe how big of an impact Iverson had on basketball, sports culture, and the sneaker community. Sometimes, you just have to let the work speak for itself, and that is what Reebok did with this retro release. Stay locked into Men's Journal Sneakers for all your shoe news.
