Don’t be surprised if you tune into The Pioneer Woman on Food Network this weekend and start to get teary-eyed. The show’s host, Ree Drummond, says this Saturday’s episode will pay a moving tribute to a beloved member of the family.

The episode was filmed just after the death of Drummond’s mother-in-law, Nan. Fans will see the Drummond family gather together and plan her funeral. On Thursday, Drummond wrote on her blog explaining why the episode will be more emotional than usual. She explained that Nan died while they were filming on their ranch, and the whole family thought they would have more time to spend with her before she passed away.

"Ladd and I thought about it and said, 'Look, we can either completely pretend this didn’t happen on the show and just not acknowledge it at all, or we can show what’s really going on,'" she wrote. "Folks who've watched our show through the years have gotten to know Nan, too. So we decided to devote an episode to one of the days just after Grammie died."

On Instagram Friday, Drummond posted a photo of her “glamorous mother-in-law” and wrote a sweet tribute to her legacy.

Read her full caption below:

“My glamorous mother-in-law. When she died this summer, we had just (the day before) started filming a new block of my show. I wrote about it more on my blog (link is in my profile if you'd like to read)---how surreal the convergence was of filming and life, and how supportive Food Network and the production company were in the days surrounding our family's great loss. This Saturday's show will be a little different from normal; there will still be food and family, but since it was filmed on a day we were getting ready for Nan's funeral, there's a sadness you don't usually see on the ranch. But ultimately, the episode is still about family---which was what Nan cared about the most. ❤️”
