Reddit’s Recap Marks Sneakers As Its Third Most-Viewed Men’s Community of 2023
Reddit’s annual Reddit Recap is here, breaking dow the platform’s most-viewed communities — and sneakers have emerged as one of its top trends of 2023.
Within Reddit’s end-of-year report, its Men’s Fashion and Lifestyle category’s most-viewed communities of the year highlighted topics including fitness, fashion advice and sneakers. In fact, sneakers were the third most-viewed community of the year, accredited to Reddit’s r/Sneakers page.

This community page focuses on all things related to sneakers in the menswear space, with its 3.8 million members sharing photos and commentary on an array of footwear-related topics — including new purchases, store displays and sneaker release dates.
Elsewhere in the Reddit Recap, the brand’s top two communities included R/askmen (5.8 million members) — which features men’s-related questions for users to answer — and R/fitness (11.5 million members), which focuses on all topics and questions related to fitness and physical health.
Overall, Reddit’s most-viewed community, however, was its r/AmITheAsshole community — a forum where users can ask frustrating questions for the public to respond to, which has amassed 12.6 million members and a 19,438% growth in views year-over-year; 2023 marks the feed’s third year as Reddit’s and most-viewed community online.
In other Reddit news, the platform’s Reddit Recap has grown to 449,000 members since going live online. The brand’s listed rules for those posting in the forum include focusing on relevant conversations, not personally attacking or “facilitating hostility” towards other users, and following Reddit’s Content Policy.
