Red is Trending at the 2023 Emmys: Suki Waterhouse, Meghann Fahy and More Stars Who Donned Rouge Hues

Rouge hues dominated the runway during the fall 2023 season, with labels such as Valentino, Carolina Herrera and Emilia Wickstead ushering in a red renaissance. On Monday night, stars like Suki Waterhouse, Katherine Heigl and Camila Morrone brought the trend into the new year, opting for fiery shades on the Emmys red carpet.

Suki Waterhouse

Waterhouse’s voluminous Valentino gown came from the label’s spring 2023 couture collection. Altered to fit her growing baby bump, the frock featured cutouts as well as a bow at the waistline. The model and actress added on diamond jewelry by Tiffany & Co. Waterhouse was styled by Rob Zangardi and Mariel Haenn, who are also known for dressing Jennifer Lopez, Heidi Klum and Hailee Steinfeld.

Meghann Fahy

Meghann Fahy of “The White Lotus” opted for a velvet strapless Armani Privé gown featuring floral appliques along the neckline. The actress accessorized with diamond-encrusted Bulgari jewels.

Camila Morrone

Morrone sported a red corseted gown by Atelier Versace. The “Daisy Jones & the Six” starlet kept her look minimal, forgoing jewelry. Sandra Amador, who styles A-listers including Austin Butler, Lady Gaga and Maggie Gyllenhaal, curated Morrone’s Emmys look.

Sarah Snook

Sarah Snook’s corseted Vivienne Westwood gown featured a layered skirt and a plunging neckline. Cartier provided the “Succession” star’s diamond jewelry. The actress was styled by Rebecca Grice, who also dresses Kate McKinnon, Haim and Jodie Foster.

Katherine Heigl

Heigl bloomed in a red Reem Acra gown featuring a floral-inspired bodice. The actress accessorized with a box clutch and Rahaminov Diamonds jewelry. Deborah Watson, whose other clients include Brooke Shields and Kristin Chenoweth, styled Heigl for the occasion.

The Primetime Emmys, presented by the Academy of Television Arts & Sciences, honor excellence in the television industry. Comedian Anthony Anderson hosts the 75th annual ceremony, which is broadcast on Fox. Although the awards show typically takes place in September, the 2023 Emmys were postponed until January due to the concurrent Screen Actors and Writers Guild strikes.
