Red Lobster Just Released the First Official Mountain Dew Cocktail That’s Better Than a Margarita
The only thing that could possibly make Mountain Dew better? If it were boozy and gave you a buzz. Red Lobster is making that dream come true by offering the first official Mountain Dew cocktail called the DEW Garita.
While neither of the brands are revealing what’s exactly in the new cocktail just yet, we know that it’s a special take on a margarita. As you’d expect, the DEW Garita includes Mountain Dew soda and tequila, but you’ll have to let your taste buds figure out what else is stirring up inside. The drink also pairs perfectly with the iconic Cheddar Bay Biscuits, according to Red Lobster, so it sounds like we have a dinner date with these two menu items happening soon.
You can expect to see the DEW Garita begin rolling out at select Red Lobster locations this month. Have no fear if you don’t find it by you just yet, because it will be available nationwide by the end of 2020.
“With both of our brands on deck to wow guests, we can’t wait to dream up more phenomenal flavor pairings together to bring some very special offerings and experiences to the table,” Hugh Roth, chief customer officer, PepsiCo Global Foodservice, said in a press release.
As if this news weren’t exciting enough, Red Lobster and PepsiCo are working together to create even more menu items that include products from Frito-Lay and Quaker as well. Who knows? Maybe we’ll get more drinks that incorporate Pepsi or Lipton, or maybe even food items that use Doritos or Cheetos. Hey, we can dream!
