Red Lobster Gifts Customers With New Menu Items for the Holiday Season

The seafood chain is fusing two of its fan-favorite items.

If you're a fan of Red Lobster, we have big news to share!

This holiday season, the popular seafood restaurant is gifting customers with a new menu item that fuses two of its fan-favorite items: Cheddar Bay Biscuits and sweet, succulent shrimp.

Considering there are people who visit the eatery solely for the warm, cheesy, flavorful bread, the limited-time offer is definitely considered "one of the most epic preparations to hit the Red Lobster menu," as the press release points out.

"Everyone loves our Cheddar Bay Biscuits, and our shrimp is a close second favorite, so it just made sense to finally put the two together! This first-ever mash-up is crispy, crunchy and full of flavor that will keep you coming back for more," Patty Trevino, Chief Marketing Officer at Red Lobster, said in the announcement.

Guests eager to get their claws on Cheddar Bay Shrimp can find it on the menu as one of the shrimp selections of the Create Your Own Ultimate Feast, which comes with the choice of four new or classic preparations—including two premium selections and two shrimp selections—plus two sides. Of course, as always, each meal comes complete with unlimited Cheddar Bay Biscuits.

The sea-themed establishment is also bringing the holiday cheer with a few seasonal boozy beverages to pair with its crispy, juicy new menu offering.

Try one of these specialty cocktails with your meal:

  • Snowglobe Sangria – A festive combination of Barefoot Moscato, St Germain® Elderflower liqueur, edible shimmer, and white cranberry juice topped with cranberries and a splash of Sierra Mist

  • Fireside Martini – Sailor Jerry Spiced Rum, Disaronno Amaretto, and Baileys Irish Cream served on the rocks with a cinnamon stick garnish

  • Cran-Apple Smash – The crisp apple and caramel flavors of Crown Royal Apple Whisky is combined with cranberry juice and topped with a cinnamon stick and cranberries

Red Lobster also recently released its 2022 Holiday Collection of apparel and accessories, where you can grab an iconic Cheddar Bay Biscuit ornament or a Cheddar Bay Sleigh Ugly sweater to go along with those delicious bread bites.

Joining the party of brands offering various holiday goodies are Wendy's, HelloFresh, Krispy Kreme, and Candy/Cookie Pop.
