Red Bull Rampage Rider Is Back For First Time Since Disappointing Injury
Alex Volokhov made his return to Red Bull Rampage this year after an injury in 2022 thwarted his rookie debut. Though he was able to ride this year, he was battling an injury yet again and could only make it down his run, forgoing any tricks.
Volko updated the fans today that he was able to get back out on his bike for the first time since Rampage. Watch his snowy return ride below.
He is quite the trooper to head out and ride in as much snow as he did there. It takes a special level of dedication to make that your return ride and not just wait till the spring.
We're stoked to see AV not only back but giving winter riding a good name. Not everyone gets stoked to throw on a bunch of layers and slide around on a bike, but it looks as though this year winter riding is so back.
For the extremely dedicated, homemade studded tires like the ones Alex shows off here are an absolute necessity. They take the fear of losing traction completely out of the equation and equip riders with an almost dangerous sense of confidence in the snow.
