Red Bull Hardline: Tasmania Final Results

The dust has settled on the inaugural Red Bull Hardline: Tasmania and the race has already cemented itself as an instant classic. Another cherry on top was that the legend Rob Warner was in the announcer's booth. It goes without saying how good it was to hear him announcing a downhill race again.
Ireland's Ronan Dunne took the win with an absolute heater and you can see that winning run below.
Dunne set the high mark with the seven fastest racers in qualifying yet to drop. No one could touch his blisteringly fast time of 3:08 and the only rider to come close was the number one seeded Bernard Kerr.
But perhaps the most interesting storyline of the whole event was Louise-Anna Ferguson, one of two women to compete in the finals. She had two massive crashes on the course yet still managed to get up and finish the race.
Here are the complete results from the race.
Rónán Dunne (IRL) 3:08.145
Bernard Kerr (GBR) 3:10.021

One interesting tidbit here too is that the qualifying times were significantly faster than the finals times meaning that the course probably got considerably more blown out between the heats. That really goes to show what a difference a day of riding on dry trails can make.
