The Recruit fans all have the same complaint about the series

The Recruit starring Noah Centineo is the latest Netflix show to grab our attention, thanks to the unpredictable storyline and impressive cast. But fans have been taking to social media to complain about the cliffhanger ending, because nobody needs that!

Earlier this month, The Recruit, which also stars Laura Haddock from White Lines dropped on the streaming service. The eight episode series follows "a fledgling CIA lawyer, [who] gets caught up in a dangerous game of international politics when a former asset threatens to expose the nature of her relationship with the agency unless they clear her name."

And while many have been loving the show, proved by the fact it's currently sitting in Netflix's 10 most-watched shows, others have been taking to social media to complain about the ending.

*SPOILERS*

The eighth and final episode of The Recruit sees Owen and Max kidnapped, resulting in Max being shot, but viewers don't find out if she survives. Sorry, what? A cliffhanger? Ugh.

"How's The Recruit just going to end on a cliffhanger like that," one person wrote on Twitter, while another put, "Why did Netflix end The Recruit on a cliffhanger? Decent watch though."

Someone else put, "Ok so when are we getting S2 of#TheRecruit, @netflix? You can’t just leave us on that cliffhanger and not give us more" and "The Recruit on Netflix was class until the very end. Leaving it on the biggest cliffhanger I've ever seen."

The only way to solve this is with a season 2, please Netflix!
