Rebel Wilson is making our collective hearts melt on this fine Thursday afternoon! The Senior Year actor posted a photo on Instagram of herself smiling alongside her new girlfriend Ramona Agruma—who, BTW, is a pretty major fashion designer/founder of sustainable clothing company Lemon Ve Limon—looking truly radiant. And if that's not enough, the accompanying caption merely added to the pic's OMG factor: "I thought I was searching for a Disney Prince…but maybe what I really needed all this time was a Disney Princess 💗🌈💗 #loveislove."
A friend close to Rebel dished to People that "[she's] in an amazing place and I've never seen her happier." Okay, we love this for her! Just last month, Rebel revealed to the same magazine that she was set up with a new partner though a friend, though she kept mum about the details. "We spoke on the phone for weeks before meeting. And that was a really good way to get to know each other," she said. "It was a bit old-school in that sense—very romantic."
"I think going through the process of finding more self-worth, I think that what you want in a partner is elevated and so it's great to have someone who feels like an equal partner and be in a healthy relationship," Rebel added. "There were times—I'm not saying with all my exes, they're great—but there were some times that I was probably putting up with that I shouldn't have. So it feels different to be in a really healthy relationship."
Rebel's social media 'ship reveal comes over a year after she confirmed her single status after her breakup with Jacob Busch in February 2021. At the time, Rebel posted a super-cheeky snap with the caption, "Lots on my mind...aghhhhhh...#single-girl-heading-to-Super-Bowl!"
Later that month, a source alleged to Us Weekly that the Anheuser-Busch brewing company heir was "blindsided" after Rebel broke up with him via text message. However, it seems like Rebel's general vibe right now is "just living life," to quote Kourtney Kardashian. In fact, Rebel recently opened up about some pretty amazing things in her life, including her health journey, which was mainly inspired by freezing her eggs.
"[I knew I] wasn’t gonna maybe work that much this year," she explained in a December 2020 Instagram Live. "I was going to have a bit more time. I was also freezing my eggs because—as all good, career women out there should note—that if that’s something that interests you, it’s a pretty good time to do it. I was thinking about fertility and having good quality eggs in the bank, so I was like, 'OK, I’m going to do this. I’m going to get healthy.'"
In 2022, it's Rebel Wilson's world—we're just living in it! And TBH, we wouldn't have it any other way.
