Rebel Wilson Brings Early Holiday Cheer and Talks Party Dressing at Her Latest Launch
Last night, actress Rebel Wilson arrived at Sid Gold’s Request Room in Chelsea, New York, ready to celebrate her holiday collection for Dia & Co. “It came out of a need because there wasn’t much option in plus size clothing,” said Wilson, dressed in a shimmering gold blazer layered on top of a bejeweled "Boss Lady" tee. “I’m the average size and height of an American woman—people were looking to me as to what I wear, so [I thought], why don’t I create what I wear on a day to day basis?”
The actress’s offerings include a smattering of sparkle on blazers, tees, and jackets, all meant to add a cheery feel to the season. “[It’s] all about power dressing,” said Wilson of the collection.
With pricing starting at under $50 and topping out at $279, Wilson is bringing her wares to everyone. As for her party dressing tips? “I normally wear the low cut dress and something sparkly to be festive. Low cut because I’m always trying to pick up,” she added with a laugh. May we all experience a bit of a Rebel Wilson glow-up this holiday season.
