It's so hard to believe that Reba has been off the air for 16 years! The hit sitcom had a solid run, with 125 episodes airing from 2001 to 2007. Some of the show's stars got together for a special event, and fans are saying that a reboot is long overdue.

Melissa Peterman, who starred as Barbra Jean, JoAnna Garcia Swisher, who portrayed Cheyenne, and Steve Howey, who took on the role of Van, spent a fun evening seeing (what else?) a Reba McEntire concert. Melissa shared several photos from the night with her fans on Instagram. Reba is in the middle of her tour, and her former costars caught up with her when she performed at the Hollywood Bowl.

The trio took a selfie before the show. Melissa captioned her post, "Mrs. H is at the Hollywood Bowl tonight!!! @stevehowey @jogarciaswisher @reba @hollywoodbowl"

JoAnna, who now stars on Sweet Magnolias, even took a huge cutout of Reba's head to the concert.

Melissa, JoAnna, and Steve were able to get a photo with Reba. Excited fans bombarded the post with rather demanding messages:

  • "We NEED the reboot."

  • "If we can't get a reboot, then at least a movie."

  • "I just love this!! This makes me so happy! When’s the reboot?!"

  • "REBOOT REBOOT REBOOT"

  • "My Hart 💜🥹😉 Fingers Crossed all the stars align and a revival will be able to work out!"

The stars of the show have commented on the potential of a reboot, and we have to say it doesn't sound like it's out of the question. In August, Reba told The Bobby Bones Show that she's "trying hard" to make it happen. "I really want to work with the people that I got to work with during that six-and-a-half years." In an interview with People, JoAnna said, "I can assure you that if someone came to all of us and said that they wanted to do it, we're all there ready with all of the stories."

We'll remain hopeful that something will happen! Until then, you can stream all six seasons of Reba on Hulu or watch for free with ads on Amazon Freevee.
