Reba Shares Heartbreaking Post Mourning the Loss of Her 'Angel' Dog

"He impacted everyone that came across his path."

Reba McEntire is honoring the life of her late dog, Riddler, who died earlier this week following a battle with lymphoma.

McEntire and her partner, Rex Linn, announced the news in an emotional tribute shared to Instagram on Friday, Nov. 18, revealing that their pup sadly passed away on Wednesday

"If we're really lucky, an Angel will place something in our laps that will affect us for a lifetime...and we got really lucky," the heartbreaking post began. "This particular 'Angel delivered' life companion, Riddler (aka Budders, Budski, Squareheaded Bastard) said goodbye to us at 11:20 AM PT on Wednesday."

"Only seven years old, lymphoma took his life less than three weeks after diagnosis," McEntire and Linn continued in the post, which included a series of black-and-white photos of the late French Bulldog, including one shot of him walking in the middle of his two loving parents.

"He was a GRAND CHAMPION in the Show Ring, but a grander one in life," the caption went on. "He impacted everyone that came across his path."

"He was a good man to ride the river with, the Best," they concluded the post, which was signed, "-Rex & Reba."

In light of the sad news, tons of fans showed up in the comments to send their condolences to the grieving pair, including their Big Sky co-star Luke Mitchell, who wrote, "Guys I am so sorry! Sending lots of love your way ❤️❤️❤️."

"So sorry for your loss Reba and Rex," one sympathetic fan wrote under Friday's post.

"I’m so sorry. Sending hugs and prayers to you both. He had a wonderful life and was loved. ❤️🙏🐾🌈" another person added.
