“It’s an Okie dance!”

It’s an Oklahoma thing!

Reba McEntire channeled her predecessor and fellow Okie, Blake Shelton, in a new behind-the-scenes look at some outtakes from The Voice.

While John Legend sparred with Dan + Shay over using a Playoff Pass, McEntire entertained herself by doing jerky dance moves similar to the ones Shelton would make when he was a coach on the NBC hit.

In short clips spliced throughout the roughly five minute video, McEntire can be seen doing what can only be described as an awkward combination of a jig and the robot with some jazz hands thrown in.

At one point, Carson Daly tells her, “That’s exactly how Blake [Shelton] dances,” earning a hearty laugh from the country queen.

“It’s an Okie dance!” McEntire replied as she hammed things up with some hoedown knee kicks. “That’s the Blake Shelton dance,” Daly countered.

McEntire joined The Voice as a coach in May 2023, just two months after Shelton announced his departure from the show to “focus on family.”

In a December 2023 interview with People, McEntire reflected on her time as a coach, revealing that the best part of the gig is the friends she's made along the way. “Working with the contestants, hanging out with the coaches. I’ve had so much fun. And the crew is wonderful. I’ve gotten to meet so many people that I’ll never forget,” she shared.

So much fun, indeed!

The Voice airs Mondays and Tuesdays at 8 p.m. EST on NBC.
