Reba McEntire Addresses Engagement Rumors

Reba McEntire might be going strong with her longtime partner Rex Linn, but after she was spotted wearing a ring on her third finger recently, the country singer cleared up all the rumors about an engagement.
On Monday, Dec. 4, McEntire walked the red carpet for The Voice wearing black pants, black cowboy boots, a white shirt and a blue sweater over it. But a lot of attention went to her jewelry, as the star wore a big ring on the ring finger of her left hand.
But according to McEntire, this doesn't mean that wedding bells are in the near future for her. She spoke with ET on the red carpet, saying that she chose the ring to have a little fun with the rumors about her and Linn getting married.
"I just found it. I told Leslie [Matthews Duggar, her manager], Imma put something over here, just let everybody talk about it," she said, and it appeared to work.

In an attempt to clarify, ET reporter Cassie DiLaura went on, "You know I'm planning a wedding, am I still the only one planning a wedding?"
McEntire replied, "Yes, you are."
Earlier this year, McEntire commented on the possibility of marriage with Linn—an actor who starred in projects like CSI: Miami, Young Sheldon, and Big Sky—telling Page Six at an event, "I said [to Linn], ‘If you want to that’s fine with me.’ I’ve been married twice, he’s never been married so if he wants to that’s up to him."
She also touched on why she and Linn work so well, saying, “He makes me laugh all the time. That’s the best thing about our relationship. We make each other laugh."
Before her relationship with Linn, McEntire had been married two times. She first married Charlie Battles from 1976 to 1987, before tying the knot with Narvel Blackstock in 1989. Blackstock and McEntire were together until 2015.
