You Really Won’t Believe These Sunset Views!

Rising between Piers 5 and 6 on the Brooklyn Heights waterfront and with stunning views of Lower Manhattan, Quay Tower combines a metallic exterior shell with warm-wood finishes and luxe marble interiors by Ron Radziner and Leo Marmol of California architecture and design firm Marmol Radziner.

“The materials really harmonize with both the Brooklyn waterfront and Lower Manhattan skyline as a unit,” says Radziner of the design. “They are natural, age well, and have a hand-worked quality. Our design features materials that intersect cleanly with each other and knit together.”

The 28-story building, which features 126 two- to five-bedroom residences, pays homage to the neighborhood’s industrial past while offering such elegant amenities as White Princess Quartzite countertops, Gaggenau kitchen appliances, and Alabastrino Rustico travertine marble walls and floors with radiant heating. Amenities also include a 60-foot outdoor terrace in the Sunset Lounge, a state-of-the-art fitness center, a music practice room, and a pet wash. And let’s not forget proximity to the famous Brooklyn Bridge Park.

“Brooklyn has a rawness and texture that is different from anywhere else we have worked,” Radziner says. And where would he live in Quay Tower? “I would choose a unit with a view of Downtown Brooklyn, our first source of inspiration.” Check out gorgeous images of three model residences below.
