Reality Steve Says 13 Guys From Clare Crawley’s Season of ‘The Bachelorette’ Have Already Been Cut
The production team from Clare Crawley’s season of The Bachelorette brought extra men on the show in case anyone tested positive for COVID-19 prior to filming.
Reality Steve is now saying 13 of those men have been cut.
I know you must be waiting on pins and needles for intel about Clare Crawley’s season of The Bachelorette, but it looks like there’s a bit of a holdup—again. FYI, the last major update we got is that Clare and her potential suitors are filming at La Quinta Resort & Club in California and flew in some “extra” boys just in case anyone tested positive for coronavirus before filming.
Last week, Reality Steve shared that just because the extra men were coming to set didn’t exactly guarantee they’d make it on air.
“I’m hearing this season they have way more guys flown out there than will eventually end up on the show, and that’s to have other guys ready to go if any test positive for COVID upon arrival," he said. “But in typical Bachelor fashion, it’s not like they’re telling any of the 'extra' guys they flew out that they’re basically just a standby person.”
Which brings us to today’s update: It looks like 13 of the men flown in got cut, and Reality Steve has the official list of names. Obviously, Matt James is part of that list because he was asked to be the next Bachelor (following his and Clare’s very public Twitter drama), but the other 12 are new faces.
Of those 32, here's who I know will not be part of her cast anymore, for one reason or another:
Aaron Goodwin
Anthony Witchek
Austin Bouzigard
Bennett Murphy
Bret Engemann
James Clarke
Matt James
Miley Gully
Nick Eccher
Grant Lewis
Greg Grippo
JP Caruso

Shame we won’t be seeing these dudes on TV, but hey—there’s always a chance they return for a following season. In the meantime, I’ll be hitting up their Instagrams...for research purposes, of course.
