Teaming up with the skilled surfer Julien Williams, the duo embarked on an uncharted journey. Williams, after waxing up the top sheet of a snowboard, paddled out on a foam surfboard to put the theory to the test. With determination, Williams caught a wave on his surfboard and attempted a jump onto the snowboard. After six valiant attempts, he managed to catch a part of the wave on the snowboard, though the success might not hold up in professional surfing competitions.

From the Youtube Description:

" I finally figured out if a snowboard could be surfed. It was worth the wait. My friend Julian Williams was kind enough to assist me even though it meant paddling out on a soft top with a snowboard at one of the most crowded line-ups in the world. Thanks for coming along with me to try this out. I'm Brad Jacobson and I'll sea ya on the sand. "
