The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City made headlines in the Season 4 finale when Monica was revealed to be behind the reality TV Instagram fan account Reality Von Tease, which was accused of trolling former cast member Jen Shah, as well as other cast members. “Monica is not who she says she is,” Heather told Whitney, Lisa, and Meredith in the finale. “She’s not our friend. She’s someone that has schemed and worked to infiltrate our friend group. And the name that you all know her as, the woman whose birthday was celebrated, who we’ve been trying to champion and support and defend is Reality Von Tease.”

The drama created a divide between Monica and her five Real Housewives of Salt Lake City cast members, who she hadn’t spoken to until the Season 4 reunion filmed months later. With the group divided, it’s understandable why Bravo fans want to know who’s coming back for The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City cast for Season 5 and which cast members are leaving after the Reality Von Tease drama in Season 4. Read on for what we know about The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City Season 5 cast ahead.

Who’s in The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City cast for Season 5?

Who’s in The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City cast for Season 5? See what the Heather, Lisa, Meredith, Whitney, Mary, and, of course, Monica have said about returning for the next season of RHOSLC and who’s confirmed to come back.

Is Heather coming back for The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City Season 5?

Is Heather Gay coming back for The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City Season 5? As of writing, Heather hasn’t confirmed her return to The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City.

In an interview with Variety in November 2024, Heather claimed that she wouldn’t film with cast member Monica Garcia if she returned to The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City. “I don’t think I ever will, ever. It’s pretty definitive for myself. I can’t speak for my other cast members but for me, it’s pretty clear,” she said.

She also confirmed that she and Monica didn’t repair their relationship after The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City Season 4 reunion. “The resolution wasn’t typical of a reunion I don’t think,” she said adding that there were “a lot of shocks and surprises.”

She also described the Reality Von Tease reveal in Bermuda as “beyond anything I’ve ever experienced in my own life or anything I’ve seen on television.” She continued, “The way it all exploded and didn’t really resolve at the reunion is something to watch for as well.”

Heather made her debut on Season 1 of The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City and has starred on four seasons.

Is Lisa coming back for The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City Season 5?

Is Lisa Barlow coming back for The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City Season 5? As of writing, Lisa hasn’t confirmed her return to The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City.

In an interview with Deadline in January 2024, Lisa claimed that she wouldn’t film with co-star Monica Garcia again if she returned. “The trust is broken,” she said. “The fact that [Monica] can send her friends videos inciting her mother, and yelling at her mom, and demeaning her mother, I could never trust her again. I just couldn’t trust her. I don’t want her in my home. I don’t want her in my space.”

Though she doesn’t trust her, Lisa admitted that Monica was “great TV.” “It was hard because, for me, it was dealing with someone that’s very sophomoric,” she said. “I like to argue smart. Heather [Gay] and I can dish and take. I think with Monica it was a little hard because her jeers were so low. I mean, how do you respond to someone that’s saying, ‘Fix your face, you’re ugly.’ You can’t respond to that.”

Lisa also addressed claims that The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City Season 4’s high ratings were only due to Monica. “The season would’ve been good with or without Monica because there was so much that we had to resolve.”

Lisa also recalled her reaction to learning that Monica was Reality Von Tease. “I was really angry because I’m like, ‘We let you in our space and this whole time you were going online and bullying every single one of us,’” Lisa said. “The way she was watching all of us and studying us, it felt so dark and creepy and so invasive.”

She continued, “We figured out that [Monica] was logging into Jen’s security cameras watching her for months. All of the videos that were going up about Jen on Reality Von Tease were downloaded from security cameras. That was so crazy to me.”

Lisa made her debut on Season 1 of The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City and has starred on four seasons.

Is Meredith coming back for The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City Season 5?

Is Meredith Marks coming back for The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City? As of writing, Meredith hasn’t confirmed her return to The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City.

Meredith told Us Weekly in December 2023 that she’s no longer in contact with co-star Monica Garcia after filming The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City Season 4 finale. “I’ve not spoken to Monica. [But] I have spoken to [Lisa Barlow],” she said.

She also told Entertainment Tonight that month that there remain “some pretty big issues” with Monica after the Season 4 reunion that would make it “difficult” for the cast to film together for Season, but not impossible. “She did choose to fight it, as opposed to saying, ‘Hey, I screwed up. Here you go, let’s end this,’” Meredith said of what she perceived to be Monica’s lack of accountability. “So, yeah, that has a significance to it for sure.”

She also explained that she still has “a lot of unanswered questions” about Monica since filming the Season 4 reunion. “There are still a lot of unanswered questions for me,” she said. “There’s a lot that goes on in these next several weeks that you’ll see that unfold, and there were a lot of issues going into reunion, so I didn’t really go in anticipating that I would come out covering the full 14 pages of typed notes that I had, so we still have stuff to address, which, you know, makes for a next year…”

She said of what Heather learned in Bermuda, “That call was a big deal, I think, for all the other women — probably beyond shocking. I had some inkling about some issues prior to that. There were certain things I found out actually, like, 10 days before I left to Bermuda, and then I learned a little bit more closer and closer, so I was shocked — and I was probably the least surprised of anyone, because I did have some information going into it.”

Meredith made her debut on Season 1 of The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City and has starred on four seasons.

Is Whitney coming back for The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City Season 5?

Is Whitney Rose coming back for The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City Season 5? As of writing, Whitney hasn’t confirmed her return to The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City.

Whitney revealed in an interview on Watch What Happens Live in December 2023 that she was left with more questions than answers from co-star Monica Garcia after the Season 4 reunion. It was really intense. I’m still digesting it,” she said. “After [the] reunion, I was hopeful that I could get an understanding and some answers. But I feel like I got the exact opposite. So, today, we’re on ice.”

During an episode of the podcast “Two Ts in a Pod” in January 2024, hosts Tamra Judge and Emily Simpson, who are cast members on The Real Housewives of Orange County, claimed to see Whitney speak to Monica at BravoCon 2024, which led cast members Lisa Barlow and Heather Gay to allegedly get mad at Whitney and Whitney to reportedly start crying.

Whitney made her debut on Season 1 of The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City and has starred on four seasons.

Is Angie coming back for The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City Season 5?

Is Angie Katsanevas coming back for The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City Season 5? As of writing, Angie hasn’t confirmed her return to The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City.

In an interview with Us Weekly in December 2023, Angie revealed that the biggest lesson she learned from her first season as a full-time Housewife is that not everyone is her friend. “I’m naive, I want to be friends with everyone,” Angie said. She continued: “I learned that everyone is not your friend, and that’s sad. I was hoping that everyone would have the same mentality as me, but it’s a little eye-opener that sadly you have to be cautious with some people.”

She also seemed to shade cast members Monica Garcia and Meredith Marks. The biggest thing I’ve learned is don’t believe everything because people will say anything to be relevant,” she said. She added of her real friends on the show, “Not everyone’s your friend. But I have my friends by my side, and I’m so grateful for that.”

Angie made her debut as a Friend on Season 3 of The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City and was promoted to a Housewife in Season 4. She has starred on two seasons.

Is Monica coming back for The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City Season 5?

Is Monica Garcia coming back for The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City Season 5? The answer is no. People confirmed on January 23, 2024—the day the third part of the The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City reunion premiered—that Monica would not be returning for RHOSLC Season 5.

Prior to the confirmation, Monica revealed in an Instagram Live after the first part of The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City Season 4 reunion that she had not been asked back yet for Season 5. “I have not been asked back yet. I have no idea. So I do not know yet,” she said. Monica then asked former cast member Danna Bui-Negrete, who was a Friend on The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City Season 4, if she would come back for Season 5, to which Danna smiled and responded, “I don’t know.”

The Sun also confirmed in January 2024 that Monica had yet to be invited back to The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City. “Monica hasn’t heard from Bravo yet,” the insider said. “She’s been left in the dark and believes they’re waiting to see more of the public’s opinion during the reunion before making a decision.” Another source added, “Casting for next season has not yet been decided.”

After Monica’s Instagram Live, cast member Lisa Barlow took to Twitter to suggest that she wouldn’t be welcome if she returned. “When you play all of your cards, you’re out,” Lisa tweeted. Lisa also responded to fans who claimed that The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City would need Monica to come back to be “successful.”

“I love you queen but the show needs to have people you don’t like in order for it to be successful. We want to be entertained and want to see the mess unfold,” a user tweeted, to which Lisa responded, “I’ve been on show where people have hated me for 4 seasons.”

“If Monica doesn’t come back they as well put y’all on pause!,” another user tweeted, to which Lisa responded, “it’s your opinion.” Cast member Heather Gay also told Variety in 2023 that she doesn’t plan on filming with Monica ever again. “I don’t think I ever will. Ever,” she said. “It’s pretty definitive for myself. I can’t speak for my other cast members, but for me, it’s pretty clear.”

Lisa Barlow told Deadline that if Monica did come back, their relationship would be difficult to rebuild. “The fact that [Monica] can send her friends videos inciting her mother, and yelling at her mom, and demeaning her mother, I could never trust her again,” she said. “I just couldn’t trust her. I don’t want her in my home. I don’t want her in my space.”

However, she acknowledged that Monica makes for “great TV”. She added, “It was hard because, for me, it was dealing with someone that’s very sophomoric. I like to argue smart. Heather [Gay] and I can dish and take. I think with Monica it was a little hard because her jeers were so low. I mean, how do you respond to someone that’s saying, ‘Fix your face, you’re ugly.’ You can’t respond to that.”

Monica made her debut in Season 4 of The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City and starred on one season.

Is Mary coming back for The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City Season 5?

Is Mary Cosby coming back for The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City Season 5? As of writing, Mary hasn’t confirmed her return to The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City.

When asked if she would come back for Season 5, Mary told E! News in December 2023, “Yeah, maybe.” “Only because I feel like I’m here for Monica [Garcia] and if I need to be full cast to make sure she gets where she’s going, I’m here to support her,” she said. She continued, “Don’t ever lose your mind over no one, ever,. With Lisa, I feel like you both go back and forth. I feel like it’s not just her. I feel like it’s both of you.”

Mary also opened up about her experience filming the Season 4 reunion. “It was good for me, I don’t think it was good for them,” Mary said. “It certainly wasn’t good for Monica, but it was good for me. I was there for a little amount of time and then I was gone in the right amount of time. I poked in and poked out.”

She also explained why she thinks The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City has become a fan favorite in recent years. “I think a lot of it is probably because we’ve been through the worst out of all the franchises,” Mary said. “We’ve gotten beaten up a lot. People bond with that and relate.”

Mary made her debut on Season 1 of The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City and starred as a full-time Housewife for two seasons. She returned in Season 4 as a Friend.

Real Housewives of Salt Lake City airs on Tuesdays at 8 p.m. on Bravo and is available to stream on Peacock. Here’s how to watch it for free.
