'RHOBH' Stars Dorit And PK Kemsley Say They Are A 'United Couple' Amid Separation Rumors

Buckle up, Real Housewives Of Beverly Hills fans. Season 13 of the iconic reality show premieres today—October 25—and, based on the trailers so far, it's going to be a doozy. Aside from the obvious elephant in the room that is Kyle's and Mauricio's separation, it seems like the strength of other marriages may be tested, too.
Dorit and Paul "PK" Kemsley have been a solid couple on the Bravo show since the fashion designer joined the cast in season 7. However, in the Season 13 teaser trailer, PK calls out Dorit for being dramatic about her PTSD diagnosis (more on that later). So, things seem a bit rocky...
If you're interested in how the couple got to where they are today, allow me to fill you in on Dorit and PK Kemsley's full relationship history.
2011: Dorit and PK Kemsley meet.
Dorit met PK, a real estate developer, back in 2011 through mutual friends, Bravo reports. When the couple first met, the RHOBH star initially turned down PK's invitation for a date, she told Wedding Style Magazine in 2015.
However, Dorit's grandmother had recently passed away, and before dying, had told the reality star that she would send her soulmate to her. Remembering her grandmother's parting promise, Dorit changed her mind and went out with PK, she told Wedding Style Magazine.
The pair went out and "have been inseparable from that first night," the RHOBH star told the publication.
February 11, 2014: The couple's first child, Jagger, is born.
In 2014, Dorit gave birth to the couple's now 9-year-old son, Jagger. If you peruse the reality star's Instagram, you'll def see some adorable pictures of the whole fam—and some spotlight posts for Jagger.
In February 2023, Dorit shared a birthday post for her son on Instagram. "My sweet, kind, thoughtful, smart, funny, caring, lovable boy!" she wrote.
March 7, 2015: Dorit and PK get married at the Rainbow Room.
A little less than a year after Jagger was born, Dorit and PK tied the knot on March 7, 2015, Bravo reports. The couple had a traditional Jewish ceremony at New York City's iconic Rainbow Room venue, according to Wedding Style Magazine. Dorit's close friend Boy George also performed for the newlyweds.
In 2021, Dorit wrote a heartfelt anniversary post to PK on Instagram. "Even though you may drive me crazy at times🤪; I wouldn’t change a single day with you. My soul became whole the day I married you," she wrote.
February 23, 2016: The couple's second child, Phoenix, is born.
Nearly a year after their nuptials, the Kemsley brood grew to four, as the couple welcomed their daughter Phoenix.
Dorit often shares posts about both of her children. In 2021, she shared the sweetest birthday post for Phoenix. "Phoenix Nava, you are the most incredible little girl filled with a heart of gold and infinite capabilities," she wrote. "I’m so, so proud of the kind, caring nature you possess and yet the first to protect and stand up for those you love (particularly your big brother!)."
December 2016: Dorit joins Real Housewives of Beverly Hills.
Dorit got her diamond as RHOBH entered its seventh season. At the time, Dorit was not worried about all the extra attention the show might bring to their relationship, according to Bravo. As for her husband: "PK's cool. He likes it. He likes the thrill of it," Dorit told Bravo in 2017. "We don't really let outside influences come into our little tight bond because it's me and him and we are so the yin and yang."
2019: The couple purchase a home in California.
In 2019, the couple purchased a home in Encino, California for $9.5 million, according to The Daily Mail.
October 2021: Dorit is robbed at gunpoint.
In 2021, burglars broke into Dorit and PK's Encino home at around 10 p.m. PK was in London on business, while their children were asleep in bed at the time of the robbery. The RHOBH star later told Extra that she begged for her life in the predicament.
"They were surprised to see me at home," Dorit said. "When they did, they pushed me to the ground. They said, ‘Who else is in the home?'"
The reality star went on to explain that she begged for her life during the encounter. "There was someone else who said, ‘Just kill her, just kill her already, just kill her,’ and all I could think of, ‘I have to save those babies.’ I begged them, I begged for my life, and begged for their life."
Luckily, Dorit was able to make it out of the situation unharmed, but the situation obviously scarred her. The robbers also walked away with over $100,000 worth of merchandise, per US Weekly.
June 2022: Dorit reveals she's diagnosed with PTSD.
On Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen in June 2022, Dorit opened up about how she was officially diagnosed with PTSD.
"It’s just a process," Dorit explained on the show. "I’m doing what I have to do, and I’m doing it for my family, for my kids. And I’ll continue to do what I need to do and speak to who I need to speak to."
October 2022: Erika Jayne speculates Dorit and PK may split.
In fall 2022 at Bravocon, Andy Cohen asked RHOBH co-star Erika Jayne, "What Bravolebrity relationship do you think is headed to splitsville next?" At first, Erika seemed like she didn't want to answer, and instead asked Andy, "On my cast?" to which he replied, "Anywhere." Then, Erika said, "I don't want to answer this question because I feel bad, but..."
Before finishing her sentence, Erika got up and strutted to the center of the stage before saying, "I think it's Dorit and PK." (Everyone's jaws—including Andy's—dropped.)
Later, Dorit responded to the accusation on Instagram, per US Weekly. "Misery loves company. What else can [I] say 🤷🏼♀️," she wrote. "Our friends, those that truly know us, know what we have and who we are."
March 2023: Dorit and PK celebrate their 8th anniversary.
Despite the rumor mill, it seems like Dorit and PK are still going strong. Dorit continues to share sweet posts of her whole family on Instagram, and the couple just celebrated their eighth anniversary in March.
"8 years ago today, I married my soulmate," she wrote. "We may not always have it all together, but together we have it all."
October 25, 2023: Dorit and PK say they are a "united couple."
Amid the RHOBH season 13 premiere on Wednesday night, the Kemsleys told People in a joint statement that their marriage of eight years remains intact—although they've "had some challenging years," which they "openly discuss" this season. "We remain committed to working through these issues as a united couple for our family," Dorit and PK said. "We have not separated nor are we planning to do so. Rather, we are focused on healing, making changes and doing the things that many couples have to do at some point in their marriage."
"We would be grateful for everyone’s understanding," their statement continued. "We are doing what we can to focus on the best interests of our family, as opposed to spending our time contending with rumors and hearsay that are not true." Well, there you have it!
