“Having chemistry with someone is an incredible — and overwhelming — feeling. It’s like you have no choice in the matter. You are just drawn to each other," says Kelly. "This can be good and bad. This album takes you down every path that chemistry could lead you down.”

"Favorite Kind of High" is an upbeat ballad that showcases Kelly's insane range and belt with clear, clean piercing highs (get it?) and deep, rich lows. In contrast, "Mine" slows down, and explores the other end of the spectrum into heartbreak and the complex feelings that accompany it and features what can only be described as a beautiful wail. "Me" starts deep and slow, and as the name suggests, speaks to loving yourself in a gospel-inspired chorus where Kelly just utterly goes. off. (trust us, it's too good).

To hear more stories behind these amazing songs, and get a glimpse at the rest of her album, tune in right here on Thursday, May 25 at 3:30 p.m. EST. Don't forget to pre-order an autographed copy of chemistry or an unsigned vinyl album on TalkShopLive right now.
