Grammy-winning country and pop music powerhouse Kelly Clarkson has dropped her summer-ready new single "Favorite Kind of High." It's the most recent release off her tenth studio album chemistry (coming out June 23, 2023, and is available now for pre-order via Atlantic Records).

One of the most popular artists of the era, Kelly Clarkson has sold more than 25 million albums and 40 million singles worldwide and won multiple daytime Emmys with her talk show, The Kelly Clarkson Show which is now in its fifth season. Now, ahead of the release of her newest album, she's speaking with fellow TV personality Nancy O'Dell during a livestream interview hosted by TalkShopLive — and you can watch it right here.

"Favorite Kind of High" is an upbeat ballad that showcases Kelly's insane range and belt with clear, clean piercing highs (get it?) and deep, rich lows. In contrast, "Mine" slows down, and explores the other end of the spectrum into heartbreak and the complex feelings that accompany it and features what can only be described as a beautiful wail. "Me" starts deep and slow, and as the name suggests, speaks to loving yourself in a gospel-inspired chorus where Kelly just utterly goes. off. (trust us, it's too good).
