Get Ready to Meet (and Fall in Love With!) Foley, the Host of the New 'Sesame Street' Podcast
Just when you thought all the good podcast ideas had been done, Sesame Street is stepping in to say "Not so fast!" The beloved children's show is releasing a podcast with all the same joy and education you've come to expect from the television show. The podcast is called Foley & Friends, and it can be streamed starting Oct. 15 on Audible.
The show will be hosted by none other than the new Sesame Street character Foley, who will be joined by your favorite characters including Elmo, Big Bird, and Cookie Monster to play fun games, sing songs, and learn a little something, too.
Each episode will be 15 minutes and will cover a range of kid-friendly topics including vehicles, birthdays, and learning the alphabet. Young listeners will get a giggle out of Foley's love of making silly sound effects, and they'll get to enjoy recurring segments such as "Elmo's Joke of the Day" and songs like "The Letter of the Day."
And the timing of the release couldn't be better. With families still quarantining during the pandemic and many pre-school programs being put on hold or going fully online, this show will be a welcome relief to parents in need of more entertainment and education for their little ones. It's time for a visit to Sesame Street!
